This is the story of owning and operating a 1993 Beech Bonanza A36 in the UK and some of its adventures.
Today I had the opportunity to attend a none too exciting meeting in Wolverhampton but thankfully it was an excuse to fly which I have not had often. I accepted the
invitation.
The flight took about 30 minutes on the way there and was uneventful and on the way back we flew back across the Welsh mountains towards
EGCK and at about 5,000ft we picked up light icing when going in and out of cloud. I
descended at the earliest opportunity down towards the
Menai straights. The rest of the flight was uneventful.
The whole journey there and back including a detour over Wales took 1.5 hours. Now that is a wonderful example of the time saving that can be had when flying assuming all the flying gods come together.
