What a nice day

I managed to get a flight today in the Bonanza A36 and was planning to go somewhere for lunch but after consulting the TAFs this morning it was pretty obvious that Blackpools weather was a whole lot more flight friendly than most other airports. Indeed my friend was stuck on the runway at Manchester for several hours waiting to fly in a big plane to Heathrow which was fog bound.

I got some local flight around the south lakeland area with several apporaches to go-around and a touch and go at Cark airfield. It wasd great to be back in the air and the conditions were lovely. The Bonanza was a joy to fly.
